ABOUT ME

Lydia Issac, MSc, RSLP, S-LP(C)

I am a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist since 2011 after the completion of a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. My primary areas of expertise include assessing and treating preschool and school-aged children with communication disorders. I have a versatile work experience in hospitals, educational institutions, elementary schools and pediatric clinics, which provided me with the opportunities to work well among children with developmental language delay/disorder, speech sound disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, ASD,  neurodevelopmental disorders and cognitive-communication disorders. Most of my clinical experience with young children has come from working with children with Autism. Thus, I present a great insight into interacting and developing therapeutic strategies for children on the Spectrum. 

I am a creative, self-motivated Speech-Language Therapist committed to offering a personalized family-centred approach with therapy tailored to the client's specific needs. Therapy can take place in any suitable location, including the comfort of your own home. I believe in working collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other members of your child's therapy team to ensure your child's success.

I am on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP) and specializes in providing therapy for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. (ASD)

During my spare time, I enjoy travelling and exploring the outdoors with friends and family!
